femmelab.com originated from my interest in researching what femme means, and to determine if I identify with it. I figured one place to start would be to look to how other people conceive of and identify with the word. I created this site as a sort of working bibliography for myself as I research the question. This is a work in progress, I have not read all the books and articles listed here.
